Plum Puff is a DVD download site that caters for videos and movies in one particular genre only, in this case providing content mostly for the hardcore market with XXX-rated movies.
At an ultra-low monthly subscription rate, there is great value for money and this is a network with a growing reputation for high quality DVD sites that is expanding at an impressive rate.
PlumPuff currently features around 700 individual DVDs at the moment, but there are no photo galleries that I could see
The videos were mostly available in Real Media, DivX and WMV formats displaying at a best of a disappointing 352x240.
The site is updated on a weekly basis, I believe, with a number of titles added on that weekly basis.
PlumPuff is the latest site with a fruity title that we’ve seen and, whilst we can’t really fathom out the fruity meaning behind the site’s title, this is the biggest of the fruit-based DVD download network that we’ve seen.
Loosely pitched as a hardcore network, this actually has a wider reach with its content than it gives itself credit for and covers a huge selection of niches in great detail, with well over 700 DVDs currently in its database.
It’s worth pointing out that the collection is a very sound one with several recognisable titles on board for you to watch that you might have seen in other places before.
What was impressive about the selection was that it was evenly distributed amongst the genres and therefore you do get a collection that will appeal to a large variety of consumers as a result.
The navigation here was pretty good for the most part. The dividing up of content into many different genres certainly helps to keep things simple here for a start.
Some people might not enjoy the large use of Real Media and DivX formats here, but they do generally download at a reasonably decent speed.
The update information was mixed – you do get a list of the most recently added titles but general dating in updates takes a couple of clicks to find.
PlumPuff is a pretty standard DVD download site as far as most things go, even if the title might have you intrigued – when you dig a little deeper there’s not a great deal to it.
It’s a large enough collection but compared to may others it’s not actually all that big. It just so happens that the three month deal is great value though and you should look at this.
