PornDifferent has over 140 videos available to view, as well as around 20 photo galleries. The videos are available in Quicktime format, obviously, and they display at 320x240 (750kbps). Updates are made approximately twice weekly.
PornDifferent had a title that initially had me wondering if this was going to cater to all kinds of weird fetishes, rather than just catering to Apple Mac users! They’re people just like you and me, you know!
It really is strange that so few sites of this nature actually exist, and whilst many of the bigger porn sites cater well for both PCs and Macs, the smaller ones often don’t have the resources to try and cover both bases. It’s a noble gesture on the part of Smashbucks to try and satisfy this audience.
The content is a real mixed bag both in terms of niche and occasionally in quality. The photo galleries are a rarity within this collective and impressively sniff out some particularly hot numbers from Allysin Chaines and Jade Martin Hsu.
It’s the videos that will take most plaudits here though, with an impressive mixture of hardcore, softcore, girl-girl and solo stuff. The ‘classics’ section is a neat touch, although there isn’t much here for you yet if you’re not a Ginger Lynn fan! |

PornDifferent has a good navigation, but do make sure you have a StuffIt Expander on standby as you’ll need this to watch any videos you download!
The content is nicely categorised and is pretty easy to surf around, although the site’s main content can easily be confused with the bonus content at first.
The whole attempt to cater for Mac users does seem to be a successful one, with the layout and resolution certainly much different from the norm.

PornDifferent is a nice concept that should make Mac users feel a whole lot better in that somebody out there in Porn Land has remembered that they exist! Thankfully, the content justifies the use of the technical issues as well.
The content is indeed of a very good quality, even if most of it appears to have been licensed from elsewhere. It’s a good mixture of niches that doesn’t really neglect anything, and its growth should strengthen it immensely. Different, but very good! |
