Amber Peach is a hardcore star of increasingly popular standing who has become something of a cult hero amongst the adult community since her debut as a 20 year old in 2003. This standing isn't just down to her exciting ability to look a specialist in practically every genre she appears in, but in her unique approach to the adult industry and some of the issues that drive it.

After a fairly normal southern upbringing in Alabama, Amber Peach entered the industry in 2003, immediately plunging herself into hardcore content. Most debutants like to start their careers with some solo content and glamour photography to gently ease them into a possible career, but she didn't really see any need to take such tentative early steps. Completely comfortable and confident with her body, she immediately entered the hardcore ranks with a quick flurry of movies in her first year.

Her appearances in titles such as the long-running More Dirty Debutantes series and the likes of minor hit Teen Hitchhikers immediately turned heads all over the industry. By the time 2004 rolled around she was working for Hustler on a number of projects. It was arguably her appearance in Real College Girls 12 that really launched Amber Peach into the big time as far as the industry was concerned.

Within another year, more big networks were clamouring to sign her to projects. By the end of 2005, she had clocked up appearances for a remarkable batch of big name companies. Zero Tolerance, Sin City, New Sensations, Red Light District, Bang Bros, West Coast and Seymour Butts had all come knocking, and she had accepted their overtures too. Not many performers in the history of the business can boast having this volume of huge companies falling over each other for her services after less than 2 years in the business.

It was with Seymour Butts though that Amber Peach found her most enduring working relationship. She has appeared in at least 10 of his titles since 2005 and with the anal niche that his movies usually sit in, she was quickly categorised as an anal performer, a label that she felt was unfair considering the range of work she had produced. She moved quickly to try and dispel this pigeonholing of her talents by spreading her talents deliberately over more genres of movie.

Two appearances in the Pussy Party series followed, a series much enjoyed by lesbian followers, whilst Squirt Machines and Squirting 101 saw her become an instant hit on the female ejaculation circuit. Indeed, some even labelled Amber Peach as the natural contender to Cytherea and Flower Tucci as a 'squirting queen'. Once again though, she was eager not to be typecast, and continued to widen her net to star in projects that sat well with her rather than a particular genre.

Such a refusal to specialise in one genre may well have frustrated some networks eager to have her fronting a new franchise or brand, but it was an attitude that immediately marked her out as something different. That attitude was pushed in a wholly unexpected direction in 2007 when she hit mainstream attention with the launch of the website, BuyAPornstarBoobs.com.

The idea of the site was to raise $5,000 so she could afford a breast enlargement operation that she felt would enhance her career within the industry. Since then, she has hinted at keeping the website running to accept donations for other stars to enhance their breast size. The Post Chronicle covered the story but it outlined for many just how poorly even top stars within the adult industry are paid. Nevertheless, the project was hailed as a brazen piece of bravery on her part.

Appearances in music videos for the likes of 50 Cent certainly didn't harm her at all, and in May of this year her official website, Amber Peach Raw, was launched via the PornStar Dollars label. In keeping with her nomadic movement from genre to genre, 2008 has mostly seen her appearing in hardcore interracial titles mostly of the big booty / bubble butt variety, but we wouldn't bet on her staying in those particular circles for long.

If there's one thing we do know about Amber Peach, it is that she's not afraid to move on. She's also not afraid to take a risk and try something completely different, making her one of the most unpredictable and fascinating stars in the industry and one who has all the tools to be right at the industry's top before too long.
