It's only fitting that having just written about the splendid Julia
Bond that we should follow that article up with one about Ashlynn
Brooke. For, to date, arguably her finest scene was with Julia courtesy
of Four Finger
Club, a lesbian video of such high quality that shows you why it's one of
the most enduring lesbian series around.
For many reasons other than that though, Ashlynn Brooke is
a star in the ascendancy perhaps as much as any star in the industry right now.
Her beginnings on the road to porn superstardom were fairly unspectacular, taking
much the same form as many other pornstars - starting out in nude photography
for top-shelf magazines before entering the adult industry in late 2006 at the
age of 21.
Since then, to say she's been in demand would be a massive understatement.
With networks and companies such as Bang
Bros clamouring to sign her up after she made popular appearances for them,
she eventually signed contracts with Digital Sin and New
Sensations Cash, the latter of which launched her official site in November
2007.
Since those contracts were signed, her progress has been spectacular. In a
career that is barely 2 years old, she's already clocked up 7 major award nominations
from the likes of AVN, XRCO and Xbiz, one
of which was for a scene with AVN hall of famer Mark Davis.
And then she went one further - Ashlynn Brooke now has the
arm of Tommy Gunn, whom she has been dating for a while now.
The fuss being made about her is immense, for sure, and with such big names
and big companies surrounding her right from the beginning of her career, you
could almost be tricked into wondering already what else she has left to achieve
just 2 years into her career. But upon watching her movies, it's clear
that she does have many areas to conquer.
Whilst showing a particular proficiency for hardcore and facial cumshot scenes,
her forays into lesbian content have been surprisingly infrequent to date bearing
in mind the quality of the scene mentioned above. The world's biggest stars
such as Jenna
Jameson and Tera
Patrick earned part of their reputation by displaying an ability to not
just perform but excel in many different genres. As yet, there are many areas
of the adult market that Ashlynn Brooke hasn't even tried yet.
But by mastering a genre and getting that under her belt, Ashlynn
knows that she'll always have one to fall back on if forays into other genres
don't quite go the way she wants them to. The sky's the limit for Ashlynn
- and I rather think she knows it too.
