Very much a perfect embodiment of the contemporary hardcore star, in no specific niche is Hailey Young regarded a specialist. Whilst in years gone by the inability to refer to a specific niche that you've excelled in might be regarded as something of a weakness amongst prospective employers. These days, the ability to move seamlessly from one type of action to another without much problem is a huge one as movies these days tend to demand that type of thing.

And that's probably why Hailey Young has been able to clock up a consistent run of over 120 movies since her debut in 2004 without seemingly ever breaking sweat. Such a consistent and popular adult career isn't achieved without a large ability to turn on sex appeal, and although major awards continue to elude her, she is a classic case of the general public getting something that the critics don't really seem to get. Like a Michael Bay film - except far prettier, obviously!

Her career began four years ago after two years working in the adult industry as a non-performer - Hailey worked as a production assistant for a company in her home state of Florida before one or two attempts to work her way into the adult industry in Los Angeles didn't work out as planned. When she did eventually make the breakthrough, by no means did she intend to ease herself in gently. Clearly completely at ease with her body and sexuality, she plunged straight into hardcore action.

A fun and frank attitude to the business has always made her enjoyable to watch, and not afraid to be able to laugh at herself at the same time. She did not, and does not, lack ambition though. In an interview in 2005, she stated that she would love to have sex with Britney Spears. She might not be the only one to want such a thing, but the fact that she admitted having drawn up a list of things she wanted to do to the perma-pregnant pop star shows her to have a wild and eccentric streak.

She also admitted a desperation to work with Hustler, and a matter of weeks later she got her wish, working their acclaimed and long-running Barely Legal series, before working three other titles for them. In July of the same year, she launched her official site. Things had started moving very quickly for Hailey Young after a beginning to a career that hadn't been as clear-cut as she perhaps might have wanted.

But her career from then on seemed set to succeed with flying colours. Although perhaps not as prolific as some of her contemporaries (Hailey still commutes between Florida and California for her work), it nonetheless didn't stop the major companies from wanting to employ her services. 2006 saw her continue to work with the likes of Red Light, Platinum X, New Sensations and Devil's Film, whilst her official website also continued to grow at a very decent pace.

Unlike most stars these days, so far Hailey Young has shown no real inclination to step behind the camera, clearly still enjoying life in front of the camera. The movies she starred in started to take a slightly more extreme edge as 2007 advanced, seeing her take on the likes of Max Hardcore as well as featuring on big cock titles such as Monsters Of Cock and Insane Cock Brothas, as well as taking on bukkake and internal cumshot pictures as well.

She still continues to work at much the same pace now into 2008. She claims to be eager to retain her independence as a performer, a claim that has been somewhat played down by some in the industry that have pointed to her constant work with mainstream porn labels and the fact that her official site is now housed by Blazing Bucks. It's easy to see what she means though - she's not a contract star and has happily and successfully flitted between studios since 2004 and enjoyed obvious freedom as a result.

A surprise appearance in a music video for indie rockers Rilo Kiley at the end of 2007 has been an enjoyable taste of the mainstream for her, but nothing she has said since has suggested she intends to pursue life outside of porn in her working life.
