Writing a biography about a performer about which so little is known is no mean feat. But what IS known of Jordan Capri and her eventful 6 year career in the adult industry certainly makes interesting reading and should be regarded as a triumph of marketing and performance by her, her husband and the people that run her official site, the enormously successful Lightspeed Media Corporation.

She made her debut just days after her 18th birthday back in 2004, shooting a taped interview that saw her, according to what she said on film, becoming nude on camera for the very first time. In the interview she claimed that she had been sexually active for a few years with both men and women. The interview itself was seen by many as a 'work' by Lightspeed Media Corporation in an attempt to get their latest star noticed by the internet at large as it seemed largely performed and Jordan seemed very sure of her answers for her first 'nervous' interview. It certainly worked.

The interest in Jordan Capri was enormous from the beginning as a result, but nobody has been able to pin down just how she came into contact with Lightspeed. Some also cast doubt on the fact that one or two sites seem to claim that she's Brazilian although there is little suggestion of that on her official site - she certainly doesn't sound Brazilian in the interview after all!

Nonetheless, her site was launched with immediate interest and popularity and after only a few months it was not only one of the company's biggest sites (remarkable in that the company owns and maintains many sites) but in the eyes of some people it was THE biggest site. It also quickly established Jordan Capri as one of the outstanding 18+ teen adult models on the internet, helped by the fact that she had looks that reminded of a brunette Britney Spears.

In its early days it was very much a tease of a website with Jordan often opting out of full nudity in her photo shoots and videos, and with her girl-girl shoots often amounting to not much more than some kissing and non-sexual fondling. As the website continued to publish content along similar lines for months afterwards, many in her fanbase started to demand more explicit content. Although greater amounts of nudity started to appear, some wanted her to shoot hardcore content.

As demand grew for this, not just from her members but from those that enjoyed her shoots externally, Jordan Capri's name often popped up at the top of lists in forum and message board discussions about who people would like to see shoot hardcore content. In 2006, many of these people would get what they wanted but probably not in the manner they were expecting.

In that year, not long after her 20th birthday, clips of a hardcore sex video popped up firstly on YouTube before it was removed due to its explicit nature, and then on other tube sites that alleged to be of Capri having sex with her newlywed husband from their wedding night. Many accusations were flung round but none were particularly made by Jordan herself, notably. Some allegedly accused her husband of profiting from their wedding night, whilst others alleged a friend of hers had stolen the tape from him and sought to profit from it.

Some took her brief retirement from the industry, announced on her website, as a reaction to the video. But the brevity of the retirement combined with the fact that further clips soon appeared on her official website led many to believe this was simply an outstanding marketing campaign cashing in on the widespread demand for a hardcore Jordan Capri video. Nobody at Lightspeed addressed the issue directly at the time, but stories emerged that she was paid allegedly as much as $50,000 for the video.

Since then, Jordan Capri continues to perform and shoot for her official website, mostly again in the solo softcore bracket. Now 22, many believe she's been overtaken by current 18+ models and that she can no longer pull off the 18 + genre that her site still markets her in. But still, she remains one of the most interesting and occasionally mysterious cases outside of mainstream porn of the decade so far - and she's still achingly pretty too.
