Instead, her college years saw her become involved with fashion modelling, and she became one of the most used and photographed models in her country for a while.

But once college finished for her, she became more deeply involved in a profession which had already allowed her to work all over the world, and she started to receive and accept modelling offers from American publications. FHM and GQ were amongst the publications that she accepted work from, and in 1998 she started to accept her first nude modelling and adult assignments from the likes of Penthouse, Mayfair and photographers such as Viv Thomas.

Sandy's professional relationship with Thomas is still the longest-running and most extensive series of content that she has shot for anyone outside of her own personal website. working extensively for him between 1998 and 2001.
