This site currently features 941 DVDs, with a small selection of photo galleries also available here. The videos are usually available to view in Flash, iPod and WMV formats to stream and download, displaying at a highest resolution of 720x480 (5000kbps). The site is updated every other day.
It's been surprising how many video and DVD sites we've seen here over the last year or so that seem to be blissfully aware of competition that can offer much the same thing for a considerably lower price.
I'm glad that PVideo hasn't fallen into that trap. Offering dirt cheap monthly fees and a year long fee that really is an utter bargain, they've got the pricing spot on or they would never have been able to compete with the biggest sites out there. That said, they still have some work to do on their site, but not a hell of a lot of it.
The selection is a very impressive one indeed already. Several categories do need attending to quite quickly for my tastes. The POV, gangbang and femdom categories are really under-represented at the moment, and these are all popular niches so these are quite urgently in need of populating.
Not many photo galleries but I doubt that is ever really a problem on sites such as these. I didn't quite understand why they had included several Cytherea scenes but they had practically none of her strongest suit in them - namely squirting!
User Interface
The navigation here was extremely good. Plenty of video browsing options are always a must on such a site, but this site provides those with streaming and downloadable videos both available.
Update information was fine as well with just enough to be going on with, while a comprehensive index of all the site's stars was very much necessary too. Download speeds were very good and there was also excellent categorisation on the videos too.
The site's special browser on its streaming videos, allowing you to start watching them at whatever point you want, was also very good indeed.
Conclusion
PVideo is a very fine DVD download site indeed. It isn't just because it prices itself competitively and sensibly compared to some frankly loony DVD sites out there, but it's also because it has the good sense to make sure that its navigation is absolutely spot on too.
Some great options and some great features make it really easy to use and very user friendly indeed. But the selection of DVDs does need to be worked on as several categories are a bit short at the moment. Nonetheless, very good stuff indeed.
