ShadyPI currently has around 15 updates, all of which feature videos and photo galleries, with most of the photos displaying at a variety of sizes.
The videos are mostly available in WMV, Flash Player and MPEG formats, and they display at a best of 512x384 on the whole, at bitrates of around 1100kbps. Updates are advertised as being weekly
As much as I like the idea of a private investigator making a porn site out of the various affairs he’s filmed over the years, I think we all pretty much know that ShadyPI is more a trip into performance than reality.
Nonetheless, if you’re going to do reality content that isn’t actually terribly real, at least try and make it look like the real thing and do something that resembles a difference from the usual thing they do. This does just that.
It’s all competently and realistically filmed – if only the occasionally unintentionally hilarious attempts at acting from the participants matched it! It still works as a good voyeur site though, with some VERY hot girls (Nancy is just amazing) in particular and some nice sneaky photo galleries and hardcore videos as well.
Both formats of content are treated with in-depth coverage – the videos are usually in excess of 30 minutes long and the photo galleries usually reach the three figure mark each.

The presentation was pretty good once you get past the network members’ area on this site, from which you can access all of the bonus sites too.
The browsing options on the videos were extremely good, and the download speeds were also very good too.
Update information was okay although they could do with slightly more information aside from just the dates. Some pages could do with not being so packed with stuff too. |

Shady PI isn’t fooling anyone but I’m not sure it’s meant to be. It is great fun though and is at least a site that tries something different with the acted reality format and succeeds too.
Whether the concept will sustain an extended future remains to be seen and relies entirely on the producers coming up with new ideas. Should they do so, it could become very good indeed.
