There are currently many hundreds of updates on this network, too numerous to count. Videos here are available in WMV and Flash formats only and display at 640x480 for the most part with varying bitrates. The images usually vary in size from gallery to gallery, but were normally sized around 720x400 as they were screenshots. There was no real indication how regular the updates were but according to the site there hasn’t been any updates for 2 months here.
Ahh, this takes me back. One of the very first porn labels to garner mainstream recognition off the back of its reality naughtiness, and also because of the way it successfully translated its success to an online market, it’s hard not to be nostalgic about Shane’s World Online. But has time treated it well and, in a market now saturated by reality porn from upstart companies that have exceeded them in terms of success and size, is it still a relevant label?
For me, it is. The action here may have seemed fresher and more dangerous 10 years ago, but even now it still looks great - and it still looks and feels more realistic than the vast majority of reality porn sites out there.
College Invasion especially is still looking great although the pot smoking adventures of
Penny Flame in
Blazed & Confused are quite something. But is it still updating? And why haven’t they made the progression to high definition yet? In some ways, they are starting to look like a company that is being left behind. The quality is still there though.
This site is probably not quite as well laid out as you might have expected. Although I like the idea of different sections for different types of content that you get, the main members’ area menu is not that much help at all whilst the sections themselves can be a little confusing.
There isn’t much technical information and there isn’t much in the way of update information either, especially at the moment, plus there were no real content descriptions. The download speeds were really good though.
Shane’s World Online is one of the grand old labels of reality porn and without it the landscape of the genre would be a lot different - and probably a hell of a lot poorer too. But it ploughs on well and still looks good.
Not in every way though. The presentation here is old and creaky, there are no HD videos to be had, and there are concerns about updates. You can’t knock their quality though, that’s for sure.
