As you would expect of a site this size with so much material posted by so many different people, the video and image dimensions and technical specifications vary from gallery to gallery. The one thing I can tell you for sure is that the videos come in one of two formats – DivX or WMV. As for updates, well, there are well over 10 a day on average!
One thing I can tell you for absolute certain about Show Me Your Wife is that if you are an amateur/wives fan then the value for money factor is sky-high to say the very least! How could it not be when there are a million images to view here as well as well in excess of 2000 videos to view as well?! You’d better be prepared for long stints in front of your computer screens!
Needless to say, the quality can vary, but this is generally accepted on genuinely amateur sites like this. These people aren’t meant to be David Bailey so you have to give them some leeway on bad camera angles and other technical and artistic quibbles. You’d be surprised at just how much of the material is actually very well shot. Many of the members clearly understand that it’s in their best interest to shoot their bits as well as possible, and of that we should all be incredibly grateful.
It is noticeable, in fact, looking through the archives, to see how much the quality has actually improved. There’s a genuine sense here that people have learned from the mistakes of previous posts and corrected their efforts as a result. That’s great and refreshing to see.
It’s also great to see how well everyone seems to get on with each other. Whilst every forum tends to have one or two idiots who cause ructions and have to spoil it for everyone else, I’ve not seen such a person here. The air is very friendly and positive, and I would feel more comfortable submitting my pictures here than perhaps anywhere else.
On the quibbles front, as you might expect from a site of this nature, occasionally you come across a gallery where the pictures have expired or been removed by the host, but it doesn’t really make much of a dent on the site’s quantity. Also, the videos are almost always on the short side, more detail would be nice with certain girls.
Having said that, that Show Me Your Wife think you’ll actually want bonus material in the form of some (very decent) external video feeds and webcams shows how much they love their members!
This is by far the most disappointing aspect of
Show Me Your Wife. Whilst I acknowledge the difficulty in having a really good archiving system for over a million pictures and 2000 videos, it really should be a lot better than this.
Finding what you really want to see will be very much trial and error on your part, or a case of browsing subject titles. This really isn’t ideal, and it could be problematic enough to put some subscribers off. An amateurish layout and feel don’t help matters either.
