SmokinHD currently features around 30 videos and around 40 photo galleries as well. All photos display at 400x600 and 534x800 in size.
Videos are available either in MPEG or DivX format, and usually display at 480x360 (1200kbps) for both formats. Updates are made approximately twice per month.
I must admit to having a fair old time trying to figure out what the photo galleries that are featured on SmokinHD are doing here. They seem to have no link to the videos at all – they aren’t screenshots, plus they’re not even hardcore.
They’re solo or girl-girl posing sets, and they seem to be a bit out of place really. They’re not high definition in nature either. Still, at least they’re really sexy, whatever they are, and they may or may not be this site’s exclusive content.
The videos though are what you’ll be along here for, and the titles selected are an acclaimed bunch for the most part.
Appearances by titles in the Babewatch, Internal Cumbustion and All Natural series are certainly considerable scalps for this site.
It’s certainly impressive that they’ve managed to get hold of these titles in their entirety rather than having to settle for borrowing the odd scene. There are lots of great scenes to be had and lots of hardcore action with facials aplenty.

SmokinHD’s user interface was a rather unpredictable affair. The information about upcoming updates is really good, whilst the site is honest about the non-exclusivity of its content.
But do videos of 480x360 in size represent high definition? I guess it’s up to you to decide. Regardless of your answer, the overuse of text links, some of which don’t go anywhere become a bit tiresome after a while.
The download speeds were really slow too – the files are huge despite the DVDs being split into scenes, and they take ages. Also, they need to list the stars of the DVDs in the members area, not just on the free tour pages. |

SmokinHD promises videos ripped from high quality DVDs, and it certainly delivers – few could question the quality of titles they have been able to mine for this site, and continue to do so.
But with painfully slow download speeds and a photo gallery that seems to have no relevance to the site’s aim, SmokinHD does still have one or two issues to resolve before it can be regarded as a completely reliable DVD archive site. |
