SugarVOD contains approximately 30,000 titles right now. Videos are available in WMV format, and the highest quality display I could find saw some videos displaying at 512x384, at around 1000kbps. There was no update information here but I would venture to say that updates were very regular.
With many people claiming that the bottom is falling out of the DVD purchase market, video on demand services such as SugarVOD are certainly likely to become a whole lot more popular.
Offering over 30,000 DVDs across as many different genres as you could possibly want, this sure beats going down to the local video store and suffering the embarrassment of having to take out the latest Jenna Jameson flick there!
Obviously, the line-up of DVDs is formidable so there’s certainly no issue here over the quality of the content or the quantity and so on, it really is about how the site caters for all different tastes.
