This site currently contains 31 updates, the majority of which contain photo galleries and videos. The images here vary in size a fair amount, and there are no slideshows or ZIP downloads available here. The videos are available to download in WMV format only, usually displaying at a best of 1920x1080 (5900kbps). The site does not update and any future updates would be very irregular indeed.
I have to admit to being quite excited by Sun Devil Angels when I first started reviewing it. No matter how many of these high quality photography and glamour sites that you see, you never get bored of seeing another. This one though seems to have been going for over 2 years without adding that much content in that time, plus the fact that one of the sets of content is labelled as being created in 2003. That doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense to me.
Still, as you will read in the user interface section of this review, these issues are not the only things that distract you away from some very good content indeed. In fact, the content here is so very good that you are left with a very good taster of what could have been an excellent site rather than an outright excellent site. There are some very sexy new girls here to discover though and the ultra high definition videos really do look the business.
The presentation of this site was really very disappointing considering how much care and attention has gone into the content. You get absolutely no update information, no separate video and photo indexes (just one long list of thumbnails and descriptions that tell you very little) and no separate model index.
Then I had my login blocked for excessive downloads shortly after logging in despite the fact that I hadn’t tried to download anything yet! It really is a pretty poor effort all round.
Sun Devil Angels is a site that should be a lot more - and maybe it still could be? It does very much have to improve its occasionally dreadful presentation though because it really does its great content no favours at all.
And that is the really disappointing thing about the site - the content IS very good despite one or two question marks about its dating. It’s something to build on but this site needs loads of work on it.
