Video Chicks is a site that acts as an archive for a large collection of DVDs and videos from across a wide variety of niches and genres, from hardcore and softcore and from solo to orgies!
Video Chicks brings you DVDs that also have been produced by a wide variety of well-known and cult adult studios, as well as starring some of the best names in the adult industry as well!
The site currently houses approximately 150 complete videos or DVDs, but no photo galleries. All videos are available in WMV format, and mostly display at 320x240 at 700kbps. The site seems to have stopped updating.
The first DVD I watched here, namely Debbie Goes To Rehab, features an opening scene performance from whoever the girl is playing Debbie which is such an over-the-top performance portrayal of a sex-crazed woman that it deserves an Oscar!
It also features some of the most brutal face and throat fucking that I’ve seen anywhere. It was a pretty good start to reviewing this site, to say the very least!
Video Chicks is largely what you would expect of a DVD archive site such as this, covering many niches and offering a little something for everyone. At this moment, a couple of the niches are a bit sparsely populated, but they look like they’re filling up pretty quickly.
The stars featured here are pretty big, particularly on a male scale actually, and are mostly from a European background. This site covers less well-known titles on the whole, which is good as you do get the chance to uncover some lost gems.
Video Chicks also features over 60 bonus sites as well! Their range is really good too. In addition, there are loads of video feeds, live cams and webchats, e-zines, games and jokes amongst other things.
The site is well presented on the whole, but needs one or two features added to it that all sites of this type need.
Whilst it’s useful to have links to all the titles featuring specific performers with each video, there actually needs to be index of them as well – the search box only covers titles, I think.
Also, the videos could be slightly higher in resolution. Aside from these, the scene descriptions are quite useful and let you know what will happen in each scene.
The downloads were occasionally a bit slow though, whilst information of the updates was quite disappointing.
Video Chicks is a fairly competitive archive of DVD titles. Whilst its peers may have the beating of them in terms of sheer quantity of downloads, Video Chicks comes out on top by featuring lots of titles that are outside of the mainstream.
It would be great if they could also focus on filling some of its more neglected niches up and maybe re-brand a couple of confusingly titled niches. This is still great value for money though, even though some of the video quality is pretty average.
