WatchMe currently boasts, and it certainly should boast as well, over 10,000 videos at its disposal. They can be viewed WMV format, usually at 640x480 with varying bitrates. All videos are available to stream only. The site is updated around 15 to 20 times per week on average!
A site like Watch Me is so important to the development of true amateur porn because it really does put the control in the hands of the viewer and amateur performers.
This is a kind of a cross between all those ‘tube’ sites and other genuine amateur sites as well, to the point that there are some videos here that you wonder if they are genuinely shot by the person submitting them. But that’s actually part of the appeal for me.
It’s not just about the people submitting them being performers of the content in the videos, but the fact that they might have captured a really good moment on camera and wanted to share it with the world.
As such, you get a fabulous selection of content from all over the world, and there is some really insane content here. The ‘4 Boys 18 Girls’ orgy is completely amazing, but it’s just the tip of the iceberg for this fantastic site. I really can’t wait to see how it develops over the next year or so.
User Interface
One point of note with WatchMe is that I struggled to get videos to work with the new Google Chrome browser – but they worked fine with Internet Explorer. This could easily be a temporary fault though. In all other ways, the site is pretty much fine.
The videos are well organised into categories and the speeds of the streams were very impressive indeed, whilst update information was also good. The inclusion of blogs and also sections dedicated to those who have submitted videos also helps things enormously.
Conclusion
Watch Me is a brilliant site filled with some of the best genuine amateur stuff that I’ve ever seen, and always works quite superb as a community site as well. Think YouPorn crossed with Facebook.
But what do we make of the pay-per-minute subscription system? Well, I can’t see any particular reason why they’ve chosen that system personally and it can lead to you racking up the costs. It’s so worth it though.
