Wife Bucket

This site features 2230 photosets with about 50 pictures each and 591 video sets each featuring 5 movies for a total of 2955 movies. Then there are an additional 203 streaming movies. None of the photo sets have ZIP file downloads and images are sized at a variety of dimensions. All videos are available to view in WMV, with 640x480 (700kbps) generally being the highest quality versions available to view here. The site is constantly updated with multiple updates per week.

Initially I thought that the name of Wife Bucket was supposed to some kind of derogatory term for the ladies on board but it would actually seem as though it’s just meant to be a play on the name of a popular photo hosting website. I get it now! This site that relies on user submitted content, looks to focus on the more mature ladies out there instead and instantly sets aside a niche for it that allows it to appeal to a certain market of people. And I think it works really well too - this is a very impressive site that has built very nicely.

The content is an interesting mixture. I think the vast majority of it is amateur stuff and hardcore in the bargain and I didn’t recognise much of it as being ‘professional’ either. That said, I wouldn’t say all of it is new to this site either - it may have appeared on other amateur sites before, I reckon. There is some really good stuff here though although the quality both of the content and the actual quality of the way the videos are shot aren’t always fantastic, as you might perhaps expect.

The navigation was decent enough here to be going along with as the content was divided up until several fairly broad categories. There isn’t all that much information about the individual videos themselves unfortunately and the update information could probably have been a lot better but it is just about good enough on the whole. The layout was nothing special though and it could have done with being spruced up a fair amount. Not bad though.

At a fairly cheap price, with extremely regular updates and a very large archive of content, Wife Bucket really is an exceptionally good deal when all is said and done. It’s one of the better deals that I’ve seen for quite some time in fact - it’s that good.

The quality of the content doesn’t always hit the heights that it should hit but you will get that when you are dealing solely with amateur content, so I think fans of the genre would have been expecting that. Probably needs more interactivity to feel like a proper community though.
