The YoungRecruits photosets are presented as thumbnail galleries, and it's easy to navigate forward and backward through the set. You also have the option to view as a slide show, with your choice of slide speeds.
Since the site is still new, there are only about 20 photosets as of this review. Sets overall are generous, though, with anywhere between 35 to over 130 pics per set. The quality is definitely amateur-- in fact, many of the pics look pretty grainy, almost like they've been transferred from film.
The good news is, the boys are all dressed in their uniforms, complete with camouflage, sailor hats, and dog tags... yum. Members can rate each set, which is nice but would be better if they had a list of the highest rated sets to go with it.
The hot gay videos at YoungRecruits are all streaming WMV at a nice, clear 640x480. Luckily, I didn't encounter any buffering issues, but I did have to enter my user/pass one more time before viewing all the videos.
The movies are between 20 – 45 MB, or about 4 – 6 minutes long. The lighting and sound quality here is amateur as well, but the videographer does a good job of warming the boys up and getting them to enjoy themselves.
I definitely like that the recruits keep some of their uniform on as they fuck each other or jerk off. There's a good mix of solo and action video to enjoy. The downer here is that the videos aren't currently downloadable, though the site's “Captain” states that they may change that in the future.
YoungRecruits also has a member forum, and it looks like the members so far are happy with the site. With lots of responses from the “Captain” (webmaster) himself, you definitely get the feeling that YoungRecruits is interested in pleasing its members.
That's a great sign-- the site should be around for a while with that kind of service. In addition to your membership, you have access to 6 free video feed sites and 5 gay zines.
