Review
This site currently contains 1666 videos, but no photo galleries at this time. The videos are available in Flash format to stream and download, with the best quality versions displaying at 800×600. There was no update information here, but teh site has grown quite a lot since our last review.
Oh my, what a huge collection of animated naughtiness HD Hentai Tube has to share with us! It’s really quite a delightfully huge collection, that much is obvious, and as such that is very much in the bag for the positive side of the site. On the negative side, however, it’s immediately noticeable that two regular problems with Japanese content rear their ugly heads here, namely blurring out of genitalia (ridiculous considering this is animation) and no subtitles.
I think both these points do count against this site quite heavily, although it is worth mentioning that not all of the videos here fall foul of these issues. I do think, though, that the site should consider addressing them because they do weigh what should be an excellent site down. There are plenty of excellent videos here, otherwise, and they do indeed cover a fair amount of genres. There does not appear to be any bonus content or sites accompanying this site.
User Interface
Getting the negatives out of the way first, the videos weren’t very well described and the layout was very plain. Also, there was not all that much update information or viewing options here. But the videos are organised into niches and the overall index is quite good too, while download speeds and streaming videos were smooth and quick. However, the lack of subtitles or dubbing on many of the videos may make the content less accessible than it could be,
Conclusion
HD Hentai Tube is a big and sometimes excellent selection of hentai videos taken from across a number of different genres, and a collection that does seem to be added to regularly.
But it really isn’t an easy ride getting through it all thanks to a complete dearth of information about the content and also a rather plain navigation and presentation. Some work to do, then, to make this as great as it should be.
