The videos are available to stream in WMV format with the highest quality videos displaying at 720x540 on the whole. You can also download movies in WMV at 720x540, H.264 at 640x500 and Ipod at 320x240
Classics Of Porn now has section for 70s porn, 80s porn and 90s porn. The browsing options make it easy to find what you want by either pornstar, studio or movie series. The user interface has undergone a vast improvement since our previous review.
They also seem to have broadened its spectrum to include content and sites that they regard as classics, whether they be older titles or newer offerings. As such, you do get a rather baffling and enormously wide-ranging selection of stuff here.
As such, you get undoubtedly fabulous modern offerings such as titles from the Puritan Video Magazine series as well other great titles such as Striptease Then Fuck and Barely Legal Barrio Latinas.
There are also many, many really good photo galleries too, but the mixture is such a wide one, from anime to voyeur and everything in-between, that you really do view this one wondering if they have stretched the term ‘classics’ a little too far in places.
User Interface
The site has a nicely organised index that is used for all the updates here, and it’s all as simple and easy as you get. There are many different ways to search and find what you are looking for whether it be by performer, series or studio.
The videos are also organised under their original titles so you can actually skip to a particular DVD if you want, as well as being able to view the performer you want.
There isn’t really a great deal of update information on the whole, but this does seem to have improved recently with more being brought in. The download speeds are very good throughout.
Conclusion
Classics Of Porn is certainly not short of content, that’s for sure. I said ‘hundreds’ of updates before, but in reality it’s more like thousands – it really is a quite fabulous archive.
It’s just that quite often the archive doesn’t make much sense and the site doesn’t concentrate nearly enough on genuinely older and classic material. Still, you would mad to give this enormous site the cold shoulder.
