Girlfriends Films is the official website of a lesbian erotica label that, since its launch over 12 years ago, has now become the leader of the pack when it comes to producing its very own exclusive material.

That is not just in terms of it sales, which see it topping the charts when it comes to lesbian DVD sales - but we mean in terms of quality, too, as they consistently raise the bar for high quality girl-girl adult entertainment.

This site currently has 3,991 scenes in total many of them taken from 866 different full-length DVDs / movies. Some scenes also have a small photo gallery. There are some early scenes that are not from those DVDs too. Videos are available to stream or download in MP4 format, displaying at a best in 1080p high definition at 1920x1080(6956 Kbps bitrates). Some of the newer updates have Ultra 4K movies that display at 3840x2160(15000kbps). Lower resolutions are also available. Some of the older updates may not have High-Definition movies. The site is currently updating on a weekly basis. There are also 959 high resolutions photo galleries. They can be viewed online or downloaded as a Zip File.

I love the tagline that Girlfriends Films uses - “For fine folks with good hearts and curious minds”. Wonderful! It conjures up a bit of a vintage ideal in my mind and, most importantly, suggests that this is a site that is going to treat its audience like adults and not be afraid to be slightly more high-brow than your average adult site. It’s also an erotica site more than anything and, as I’ve pointed out on these hallowed pages before, it’s different from the usual things we review.

Clearly this is a site that is far more interested in making high quality erotica than it is in anything else, but it does so without the pretensions and arrogance that you see from so many companies these days. It really does let its content do the talking and you can certainly see why they have ascended to the top of their chosen genre. The quality of their content is absolutely outstanding in terms of talent, ideas and the quality of the shooting.

I was interested to see what models they would use and whether they would avoid popular models, but they don’t actually - girls like Bree Olson, Chelsea Zinn and Deauxma come from different backgrounds as well, too, and yet they all come together to produce some amazing scenes. I think that says as much about the quality of the models as it does about the quality of the company behind them, to be honest. Pretty fantastic stuff.

This is one of the very best sites in terms of presentation that I have seen for quite some time. Aside from not only providing the usual stuff that I would expect from any good site such as technical and update information, they also provide in-depth information about their history and their content.

Really, any site can make themselves a navigable members’ area if they put their mind to it, but a site like this stands out if they show the members they care about them and presume that we want to dig deeper into the site. For that, we should thank them!

Girlfriends Films is highly thought of for a reason - not just because it’s a very good site and company but because of the fact that they are very principled about their content and it just works.

They really are an object lesson that you can succeed in this industry if you are prepared to stick to your guns, back your content, appreciate your audience’s intelligence and don’t take it all too seriously. A marvelous site.

I was amazed when I visited GF Films and immediately joined: I am one of those lesbo port lovers that loathes the superstars faking it in dyke movies and loves the more real and passionate movie GF Films makes. Excellent recommendation. This review site (Honestpornreviews.com) really is honest and helpful. The other ones are complete bullshit and they just try to steer you to We Live Together and The Reality Kings Network to get kickbacks. Not this site. Thanks, guys!

In my opinion, Girlfriends Films (GFF) should be rated 5 stars (out of 5) because the quality of the scenes are outstanding, believable, and the women beautiful. One example is offered: The “Field of Schemes 6-1, The Thornhill Diaries, University of Thornhill, Women’s Softball,” showcases some of most beautiful women you will ever find on a softball field! The site presently includes a total of 45 series, 727 scenes, and 128 models. The series category include, but are not limited to, Field of Schemes, Pin-Up Girls, Lesbian Bridal Stories, Lesbian Seductions, Lesbian Legal, Bus Stops, Net Skirts, etc., etc. Since my initial subscription, I believe at least three new series have been added to the site. The website is well laid out and easily navigated by the user. Updates are approximately every two-three days. A monthly newsletter is quite well-done and interesting to read. The last three issues contain a minimum of 19 pages each. What is also obvious from my viewing of the “Behind the Scenes” and “Vault” videos, is that the organization at “Girlfriends Films” treat their employees and talent with respect. The actors are enthusiastic about their association with GFF. Nothing turns me off faster than the director to denigrate the looks, performance, or physically abuse the actor on-camera. I absolutely love this site and will certainly renew my subscription in the future.
