Hentai Key is a massive archive of original, exclusive and licensed hentai and anime content housed under one roof. It image galleries, comic strips and movies from many different genres, with the content spread across a network of over 40 different sites.
This site is the number one destination for any animated porn fan, especially if your preference is for Japanese animation, and is perhaps the largest selection of hentai and porn-based cartoons that you will find anywhere online.
Because of the layout of this site / network, it’s very difficult to tell just how much content there is here. However, I have seen estimates of over 25,000 videos across the 40+ sites here, as well as a similar amount of photo galleries and comic strips.
The formats and sizes of the content vary across the network, inevitably, but all the videos that I saw were available for streaming and downloading at the very least but ZIP files for image sets and strips were rather more unpredictable. As expected, updates were extremely frequent indeed.
Wow, it’s been many years since I first saw Hentai Key. A lot has changed since then in many ways! Firstly it’s great to see they are still around, but they are a different network now. They have streamlined their content down from 800 sites to around 40 but their amount of content still stays absolutely massive. They seem to have become more vigilant, as well, on the amount of mainstream content that didn’t really count as hentai too. Some may groan at this - but this is a hentai network after all!
But don’t worry - I still saw a fair amount of it! They have also made an effort to make sure that they are producing their own content and adding their own content. They take suggestions, for instance, from members of the site for cartoons they would like to see. So, if like me, you’re artistically incompetent but imagined something really sexy that you would like to see then, then tell them what it is and they might just draw it for you! A great idea if ever I saw one.
Doujin translations are a big part of the site now as well, and they also have a huge selection of games available to you from Zone Archive. Like I say, a lot may have changed and the site seems to have changed in many ways but the core of a truly great site is still here. Oh, and let’s not forget that massive archive of movies and strips that they have under their belt as well….

It has always been an unenviable task to organize everything here and, to be honest, they do still struggle a bit. The problem is that the names of the sites are so similar and vague that you don’t know what kind of content they host!
It’s best to use the scattering of search boxes around and just hope for the best. I acknowledge that the individual sites, however, are often well presented and quite informative so there are some definite positives as well.
Hentai Key is still every bit as good, if not better, than when I first saw it way back in 2006. It really is a remarkable collection of hentai and Japanese animated content from across many different genres and indeed media.
It is a fantastic selection of stuff and fans of this kind really will not find a more wide-ranging and all-inclusive network anywhere. The presentation of it might drive you mad but you will forgive it - and forgive it quickly!
