Hmm, well this is a different one. Advising viewer discretion on its tour pages and warning of disturbing images, I Confess Files is a bit of a departure as far as hardcore sites go. It positions itself as styled like a collection of found footage horror films (because the world needs more of those for sure!) and the scenes are played out as much as being like horror as they are about porn. It’s a very hard balance to pull off and one that very few sites have managed to do before.
The tone is well played though. It never feels uncomfortable and it doesn’t swing too much over towards the horror side of things. The problem is that there’s perhaps too much focus on non-sexual things and the gimmick, once you have seen it a few times, starts to become repetitive. It’s a nice idea that probably works best as a short DVD series than a whole website, but with the whole of the excellent Private network included in your membership, this is covered really well.
The navigation here was mixed, I found, and there isn’t really enough information about the videos themselves. However, I was reasonably satisfied with the viewing options here on the galleries and the videos.
The index of the models was quite good but a future update schedule is pretty necessary on a site as small as this. On the flipside, the access to the rest of the Private network was very easy indeed.
I Confess Files is an interesting idea for a site but I do wonder if, even with such a small collection, they have already explored all the possibilities that this site and this idea can explore.
The videos here are enjoyable and quite well shot for what they are. They do capture the spirit of found footage to a certain extent but surely the access to Private is what is most attractive on this site.
