MyCams features over 60,000 different models and at time of review, there are on average 3000 online at any time. All come with photo galleries. Statistics can often be misleading when it comes to these live cam communities. They can often boast thousands of performers, but that doesn’t always translate to a lot being online at once.
There was no such problem with My Cams which had almost three thousand of them online at a time during my review, so there is certainly plenty to choose from! It does make you wonder though why this excellent webcam community hasn’t been more highly acclaimed because it does most things correctly.
The performers here cover a reasonable amount of categories. Solo girls, of course, tend to dominate proceedings, but there are enough fetishes dedicated to MILFs, BDSM, lesbians and couples for there to be enough variety here so that you don’t get bored.
There’s also a good transsexual representation here, but as for the boys section it was difficult to know if they were meant to be gay performers or not. Otherwise, this pushes most of the right buttons.
The site was impressive with its navigation and I didn’t have too many problems. There were one or two browser problems during some live chats (mine crashed a couple of times), but nothing too bad. The main missing element I found here is that I couldn’t actually find any profiles for any of the performers – you just get taken straight to a chat without being able to get any idea what the performer likes or is likely to do for you.
MyCams was a surprisingly good community, I must say. The lack of much information about the performers was about the only disappointment here that I saw.
The general fee lets you know where you stand, which was useful, and you don’t have the frustration of some models charging a fortune. And with lots of models online at a time, my Cams is definitely worth checking out.
