This is a site that really wants you to feel as though you are there with these girls rather than just trying to imagine it. This is as close as you can possibly get to experiencing it all!
This site currently has 262 updates, all of which feature videos and photo galleries, with most of the photos displaying at 1500x1125 and with ZIP download files available on all galleries, too. The videos are mostly available in WMV, Flash Player and MPEG formats, and they display at a best of 1920x1080(9000kbps) on the whole – all videos are available to stream and download, with no DRM issues. Updates are being made once a week currently.
POVd is the kind of site that I think is probably worthy of a great deal of attention. After all, it is taking a genre which, really, there is very little room for manoeuvre and innovation with and doing something slightly more ambitious with it. After all, POV sites are supposed to be, usually, about you feeling as though you are in the hot seat, so to speak, but it never really works out that way unless you are feeling very horny indeed and have a great imagination!
However, by making the sound more immersive here and by just trying to make things feel more authentic, the talented makers of this site have perhaps got as close to realism as any of these kinds of sites are likely to get. The action is great, which helps, and the collection of models is also a very pleasant one – you can never argue with that kind of thing when the likes of Holly Michaels and Natalia Starr pop in. No bonuses, though? That's a bummer.
The presentation was pretty good and complemented the type of content and the style in which it is shot, making for a user interface that worked well and actually seemed to fit the site in general.
The browsing options on the videos were very good, whilst the download speeds were also pretty good. Update information was okay although slightly limited in what it tells you, but the scene descriptions were really very good indeed.
POVd is a very interesting site and development in the POV genre, it has to be said. The site has grown substantially since our last review, when it was a very new site, and the signs here are very good indeed, I would have to say.
The quality of the action and the execution of what they are trying to do was outstanding. It's great to see companies trying something slightly more experimental – it's what keeps the porn business going, I think.
