Sex Art is a site from the makers of Met Art, regarded by many as the very best glamour photography and nude art site that you will find anywhere online. This site follows in its footsteps.
And it does so with another sizzling collection of beautifully created and high quality, not to mention high definition, photo sets and movies where the models could not look more stunning if they tried.
This site currently features 637 videos and 918 photo galleries featuring 438 different models. The photos here can be witnessed in high definition formats (3744x5616) if you so wish, with ZIP files available for all photo galleries and all photos available in three different sizes. The videos are available to stream and download in Flash and MP4 formats respectively. The best quality versions on the site play at an excellent 1920x1080px at 8000Kbps, but there are several other size options as well. The site is currently updated three times a week on average.
I was really interested as to exactly what Sex Art was going to offer seeing as though the Met Art label, as great as it is, has a pretty narrow field in terms of what it does. To be honest, they still don’t venture much out of their field of expertise on this site, and I’m still not entirely sure exactly what this site is supposed to be - but what it has on it is both completely different in terms of what they are doing with their trademark content and very good, too.
For a start, the name of Zalman King looms large over several of the videos on this site. That is quite a name and quite a coup. The former Hollywood director and name behind iconic mainstream movies like 9½ Weeks has produced exclusive content for this site - that’s quite impressive. Of course, sadly, King died back in February so his involvement may not be seen for that much longer, but it is still amazing to see him attached and producing some trademark exceptional content.
There are several ( 66 at the time of this review ) of other made for the website movies, too, presented in seasons like a TV series and featuring choice models. I think, really, that the site should probably concentrate wholly on these as they are fascinating and very good to watch. The rest of the site seems to be, albeit exclusively created, galleries and videos that are pretty much standard Met Art offerings. They are still wonderful to look at and watch, though.
The presentation here, including the free tour, is very good indeed as I expected it to be. Update information is outstanding and informative, as is the information about photographers, producers and models. There are separate section fro Photos, Movies and Models.
The content is well categorised too and particular models are very easy to find - for the most part. It does help a lot that the content is organised chronologically, but I would say that there is very little to fault here at all, even though a fuller explanation of the site itself.
Sex Art seems to be an attempt to take the trademark Met Art content and do something different with it, all the while retaining some of the style that made their first site so recognizable and popular.
The ‘TV series’ are a fine idea - not enormously original in their own right but filled with some stunning ideas and content, and the involvement of Zalman King alone should make this a must-see site. The site has grown exponentially since our initial review when it was very new, and now has a massive archive of content
