Due to the user interface on this site, it was difficult to ascertain exactly how much content was on this site. At a guess I would say there are around about 700 videos here and a number of photo sets but they are hard to count as there is not a separate section for Photos and Videos. The videos appear to be available for download only with no streaming option enabled. The quality of the videos, which are all available in MP4 format, was 1920x1080px. It seems as though the site is updated at least a couple of times a week.
The English Governess is the kind of site that we’re seeing less and less of, it seems. It’s a very British sort of site because it’s something that sits in our culture (for better or worse!) yet many British porn sites these days tend to have become rather Americanised in their tone. Even so, it’s great to see sites like this still around, and by all accounts it has been around for quite some time and has built up a collection that matches it.
The site is mostly centred around spanking, as you’d expect, and as such the collection can seem quite limited in what it brings you. That being said, it was good to see that the scenarios played out tend to be quite varied as long as you’re not just skipping to the naughtier parts! These are mostly specialist fetish and dominant models as well, so they know what they’re doing and that professionalism really transfers itself to their content.
User Interface
The user interface on this site is quite old fashioned and lacking a lot of information and a fair few features. It’s a site that is badly in need of updating, it looks very old and tired indeed.
There is a model index but this only includes the models’ videos. Update information was quite good but there are no descriptions on any of the videos and no viewing options on the videos. Really disappointing.
Conclusion
I would have to say that the only downside to The English Governess as a site was its poor user interface, and I note this because it’s so poor that it really does hamper your enjoyment of an otherwise fine site.
But yes, the content here is excellent. I liked the fact that the models here quite often have their own personalities which they translate into their videos, but there is so much to like in the content here.
